LogFish is an angler intelligence hub: log catches with context, map what worked, and share proof with a community. It turns scattered photos and guesses into repeatable outings.
The problem
Anglers forget the tide, bait, and spot details that actually produced a bite—so the same learning gets re-discovered every trip. Species ID from photos is error-prone without a guided capture flow. Social feeds drown signal; serious anglers want structured catch cards, not endless scrolling.
How we solved it
We built a catch composer: photo, species (AI-assisted), gear, conditions, and GPS-backed location in one save. On-device model integration keeps recognition fast while cloud validation improves accuracy over time. Personal maps visualize hotspots and trends (time of day, weather windows) without exposing exact private pins when users choose privacy zones. Community posts reuse the same structured card so comparisons are apples-to-apples. Earnings-style dashboards (where applicable) support creator and guide monetization flows. Weather and water data hooks contextualize each log automatically when APIs are available.
